| Directions: GPS Coordinates:
37°32'42.79"N and 76°31'28.99"W; elevation is 17 ft. From Richmond, VA and points west: Take I-64 east to Route 33 East (Exit 220 for West Point). At the intersection with Route 17 at Glenns, take Route 198 (straight through intersection). At stop sign, turn left and follow signs to the preserve. From Tidewater, VA/Virginia Beach: Take Hwy 17 north to Glenns. Go east on Route 198 for 5.5 miles and follow the signs to the preserve. From Tappahannock, VA and points north: Take Hwy 17 south to Glenns. Go east on Route 198 for 5.5 miles and follow the signs to the preserve. From the Carolinas and points south: Take I-95 north or I-85 to I-95 north. Bypass Richmond by using I-295 North to I-64 East. Take I-64 east to Route 33 East (Exit 220 for West Point). At the intersection with Route 17 at Glenns, take Route 198 (straight through intersection). At stop sign, turn left and follow signs to the preserve. |

| Additional Features: Situated on the Piankatank River (13 miles upriver from Chesapeake Bay), this 280-acre preserve is rich in pine, oak and dogwood forests that are adjacent to beach areas. The preserve offers two piers for fishing, crabbing, boating and water skiing. |
